Have you ever slipped off your surfboard because of your sunscreen? We have. Numerous times. So we were thrilled to discover burnd. The transparent zinc oxide goes on white, dries clear, and is extremely water resistant (so no slipping!). Here's the science: Higher SPF doesn't mean better sunscreen. Beyond SPF 30, the added UV protection is minimal, while formulas often become thicker and heavier. We think burnd’s well-formulated SPF 41 beats a not-wearable SPF 100 every time.
